2016 was a rollercoaster of a year, to say the least. We lost so many amazing people who we look up to, some well known, some closer to our hearts. This year has truly seen its ups and downs, but it wasn’t all bad. This year I lost many friends when I went off to university but now I have met some of the most amazing people who mean so much to me and I couldn’t be happier. University has really helped me grow my confidence and my beer pong skills of course. I tried to keep this post from sounding like something out of a cheesy coming of age film but I must admit it sound pretty cheesy so far.
I am on Christmas holidays at the moment and as much as I love my family and miss them so much when I’m at uni, I really can’t wait to be back with my uni friends. we have all become so close that we can’t even last a day without talking to one another, every day without fail we skype each other. It gets to a point where we have nothing to say to each other so we just sit and pull faces at each other or just feel comfortable being in each others presence. With them as my friend its bound to be a good year ahead.
I’m, not the best at keeping to my new year’s resolutions as you might have guessed when I say ill write more often and I always end up failing, but this could be the year when I successfully stick to them. I really should write more so that should be one. I also need to be better with my money this year, student loans are not just for alcohol. its gonna be tougher than I thought at this rate. wish me luck.
I hope you all had an amazing holiday and a brilliant new year! I hope I didn’t make you cringe too much at my cheesy post. see you again soon, stay safe!
